The Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE) were host to an institutional visit and collaboration with Savannah Communications Ltd on activities relating to International Association of Public Participation (IAP2) in Ghana and West Africa. During the visit, both parties acknowledge the need for Public Participation(P2)/Engagements activities in infrastructure and engineering activities while also developing opportunities for professional development among members of GhIE.
Led by Patricia Gyan-Bassaw the 1st IAP2 licensed Trainer in West Africa, GhIE were engaged in a presentation that gave an overview of IAP2, its professional training pathways and relevance in the field of engineering. She also took turn to propose collaboration opportunities between GhIE, IAP2 and Savannah Communications Ltd.
