Savannah Communications Ltd (SCOMM) in partnership with the West African Centre for Water, Irrigation and Sustainable Agriculture of the University for Development Studies (WACWISA-UDS), is undertaking science communication event of “My Thesis in 180seconds” as part of activities in the upcoming IRAD 2024 International Conference scheduled to take place on 21st-22nd February at WACWISA Conference room, Nyankpala Campus, UDS.
The competition has attracted diverse interests and various stages through preliminary assessments of candidates, oral and text presentations.
The climax of “My Thesis in 180 seconds” is been competed among nine (9) Postgraduate Students from three (3) African countries; Mozambique, Rwanda and Ghana. There is a cash prize, trophy and non expiry Internet data for the winner. Other prizes include first runner up with a trophy and also a prize for overall winner of Public votes and favourite.
